 Would be grateful for some advice re tilting wall mount for this LCD. Also is it something that is fairly easy to do or do I need to have some pros doing it? :lease:

Hi
I have posted loads of times on this subject but from experience its impossible to advise without more info.

You need minimum a hammer drill fixings etc etc and of course I have no idea of your capabilitys.

So for some people definitely a job for the pros.......but for others........to be honest its not that difficult a DIY job.

I suggest you look back on previous posts as there are loads of answers there.......quite a few from me!!

Then come back.

Attaching the wall mount to the wall should be fine. I am just wondering how fidly is it to attch the TV to it on the wall.

Also any advise re the mounts as there appear to be quite a lot on the market.

Thanks

I have put loads up and as long as both TV and bracket are VESA compliant its easy.

I normally let the customer get the bracket.

If you search this site there are loads of recommendations.

Hi Again
Sorry if that was jargon but you never know how much people know already...........anyway.........

VESA is the (almost) universal standard for mounting brackets.
Most (but not all)Tv manufacturers make the fixing holes in the back to accepted VESA spec (ie VESA 100) is very common size.

So on the TV spec, possibily on the box too it will say (usually)"Wall Mountable" VESA Compatable or words to that effect.

You then buy the VESA standard bracket to suit.It usually comes with various screws washers and even sp[acers etc to ensure it will fit just about anything.

HOWEVER if the TV isnt VESA standard you can get a conversion bracket to make it VESA from some of the specialist sites.

Let me know if you need any more.

Regards
