I currently have a Yamaha rx-v620rds Reciever and am looking to an upgrade. I am looking at auditoning a Denon 2803, Pioneer Ax3i and Yamaha 1400, these will be paired with B&W 601 speakers. The current faviroute is the Denon due to the significantly lowetr price of £450.

Can anyone shed any light on these combinations, or recomend my spending the extra money on the Pioneer or Yamaha.

    Thanks

The Yamaha is the 'dogs' at the moment but are significantly more expensive unless you try to get one from Germany (like me :D)
