help on pv500 hdmi input

    i have just received my pv500 and have upgraded my computer with 6600 graphics card which has dvi out,ordered a dvi to hdmi lead,spent weeks downloading hdtv films only to get the plasma today and read in the manual that the hdmi input is not intended for computers.
    i've spent hours phoneing dealers and no one knows what im talking about
    please help me someone. can i plug it in or not

    Still better to use the VGA input.

    Sulis is right.

    You can get a vga to component convertor, i saw a setup today, hidef (tape) player component connected and it was staggering.
