help on new dvd player needed

    need to replace my player as i want to try sacd and dvda also need progressive scan and component out for projector also multi region and the ability to play back up discs.
    So any help on which one to go for?

    yamaha s2500 or if you skip the sacd the oppo/bbk dv971h panasonic S97 is also good.

    All depends on your budget but there are plenty of good ones from £150 upwards. Ive got a samsung hd945 which does everything you want and is very good value for money, do a search on the forum as theres alot to read on the pros and cons of all the machines.

    Thanks for the help guys £150 is my limit at the moment so will look at the samsung and pioneer thanks
