My F-I-L now has a Digifusion FVRT200 (Freeview with hard disk) that has 2 SCART, a TV with 3 SCART, a Video recorder with 2 SCART and DVD with 1 SCART.

WHat is the best way to connect that little lot?

    Many thanks for your help

The number of scarts on the tele is OK but you don't say how many support RGB. I'd advise against feeding the DVD through the VCR and then through the Freeview box. Apart from anything else you will possilbly get problems with Macrovision.

If your tele has 2 RGB scarts then connect the DVD player to one and the Freeview box to the other, plug the VCR into the VCR socket on the Freeview box.

If you only have one RGB scart on the tele then either consider getting a Scart switch or configure the DVD for s-video, and use the s-video scart socket.
