It just goes to show as soon as you plump for a product that you think might future proof your prchases for a little while something comes along to topple the apple cart.

Current setup New Sony Progressive scan PAL/NTSC
    DVD Player. Superb

    Toshiba 36ZD26p
Superb (But won't take in PAL Progressive)

But I was planning on getting a projector which would accept it.

Then four little letters came along to upset things

    HDMI

    Now what????

    Keep TV anyway

Option 1:- Get best DLP projector and stick to component inputs?

Option 2:- Get HDMI DLP projector and upgrade DVD player in future

Option 3:- Fake my death Claim life insurance Get new ID Get SIM2 HT300 LINK and new DVD Player.

Am I going to be having exactly the same dilemma in a couple of months time or are things going to settle for a bit?

    Any recomendations for gear?

    Thanks for any input.

    Taz
