Am a beginner here, I have a Panasonic TVP60ZT65B, Netgear gigabit switch, Mac Book Pro, Sonos Playbar / Sub set up.
I am looking in using a NAS to be used solely for media storage including music, large mkv movies files and high resolution photographs. as well as the ability to stream to multiple devices such as computers, iPhone, iPad, tvs.
I have presently SKY internet wifi via their expander box
Im not a techy as such but can get some help as well pick up from the forums, what is best NAS to use, people talk about Synology DS412+ as it has a fast CPU speed as well as the QNAP range 212P/412. To be honest I bought the QNAP 212P and its not performing well at all, so its either a setup issue or I think I should bite the bullet and get a Synology which is the most popular. Any advice would be appreciated. sent note to QNAP support but as yet no response Frustrating !!

Thanks
