Hi guys, I have just ordered a new 42" Panny from JHL, this is my first plasma. I need help in choosing the right cables to get the best out of my screen, I dont know what I need, not sure if the panny comes with cables as well. If anyone has any info on type, price, how many I need etc, I would be grateful.
    Thanks for any replies

All depends on what you are connecting the TV - e.g. good quality scart if its just SKY SD box, if you have an upscaling DVD player with HDMI output then you need a HDMI cable (don't spend too much on HDMI cables), if you have an Xbox then use component cable, etc. etc.

Basically you need to list your equipment before you can sort out the cables.

Plenty of on-line sites that sell cables e.g. http://www.kenable.co.uk/

You haven't said what you intend to connect  Would have been useful to know :lesson:

You might want to look at this recent thread :

There are some suggestions here if you are looking for decent quality but not horrendously expensive.

    Try Cable Universe http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk
    They advertise on the forums.
I have my own Computer repair business here in Totnes, Devon and I use them. I can just drive there but they obviously mail order.
As J80Fab said though, we need to know what you want.
