HELP ... no sound

    Hi I have a pioneer 454 DVD player and a pioneer VSXC100 Amp...

    From today I am not getting any dolby digital or DTS output from my DVD player... that is no sound when I am outputting a digital signal from the DVD, but I can get the sound if I am using sound from TV (is sound via scart to TV then TV to receiver and then using PLII, but I am NOT getting Dolby Digital or DTS sound

    PLEASE HELP

    You have probably altered something in the setup menu.

    Players have to be set up to send a digital singal, sound through the scart is the basic default.

    Possibly the digital sound connection has been damaged or dislodged during cleaning etc?
