Hi all.

I've very recently got a new tv. A samsung "the frame", connecting to my HTR2067 yamaha amp
Previously I had a old panel, and used optical out, with a logitech 650 remote.

The 650 doesn't work with the new tv, so trying to use CEC for everything.

It all works, until I turn it off for an extended period, eg overnight. When this happens I get no sound, and have to turn hdmi control off and back on again on the amp.

Any ideas?

TIA!

HDMI CEC strikes again.

ok so i was sort of wrong.
Its not an overnight thing, its whenever the tv goes off, or the amp goes off, however changing the input on the amp to something else, and back to the correct one, gets it working again,

HDMI CEC.

Hi. A few things you can try...

1. Contact Logitech to see if they can add your new TV to their database of supported devices.

2. Teach the Harmony the remote codes from the original remote.

3. Check for firmware updates on both the amp and the TV

4. Try replacing the HDMI cable between the TV and the amp with a premium certified one.
