Help new sub to replace a Epos M Sub

    Hi I am looking for a new sub to replace my Epos M Sub I watch mostly movies with some music & looking to spend upto £600. I have a Onkyo TXNR 818 & Tannoy Mercury custom F4 F1 & FC speakers my room size is 10m x 5m

    Just been looking at the BK website and would like to know is the monolith + worth the extra over the XXLS 400

    The mono is ported and has a larger enclosure than the 400, so goes deeper and louder - good for movies.
    The 400 is a sealed box and produces taut, fast bass (that still goes pretty low) - good for music.

    That is not to say the mono is crap at music, or the 400 crap with movies. Each has a bit of the edge over the other in their respective strengths.

    Given your budget and that it will be used mostly for movies, go for the mono+.
