I have a Pioneer 434 hde, a Sony Davs home cinema and Sky+. My Davs is connected to my plasma box with component leads and my Sky+ connected to my plasma box via RGB scart and an optical lead for 5.1 surround sound. All hunky dorey ! However when I turn off my Davs system I thought the sound would come out of my plasma speakers ( pic and sound thru scart ? ) but this doesnt happen ? I get no sound ? Why is this ? My whole point is that I want my surround sound for watching movies but I want my plasma speakers for normal Sky viewing. So any ideas on how I make it happen ? It's doing my head in !! Thanks in advance and sorry for the "basic" post.

don't know about pioneer but in my (limited) experience you normally input sound to plasma via seperate rca cables assuming it has a built in amp

Problem solved, I got a QED AV41 RGB scrat lead, video only no audio. Guess thats the problem. Thanks for the help.
