Hello all new here i need some advice really please i have an asus G11CB tower and have just bought a Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA M.2 SSD but cant get it to be found in bios I have checked the specs which are as follows
Up to 3TB SATA Hard Drive
Up to 512GB SSD
256GB M.2 PCIe x 4 SSD
is the drive too big

The phrasing of the bit you've quoted is generally what's used to specify which configurations the computer is available with, rather than what it supports.

It's unlikely to be too big.

The most common compatibility issue would be that your system's M.2 socket only has support for PCI-E drives and not SATA drives like the MX500.

Or it could simply be a faulty drive.
