Nearly every time my 859 receives a digital signal from my player the display on the amp flashes "OFFSET -2dB" and I cannot seem to find any referance to it in the instructions! Although im sure ive read about it somewhere!! Can any one tell me what it means? And any possible solutions!! Thanks and happy new year to everyone!

    Hi

It´s called Dialogue Normalization. For a complete (Technical!) explanation have a look HERE

You can´t do anything about it (and don´t need to). It´s built in to the Dolby Digital Decoder.

    Hope this helps!:)
