help needed with new tv

    Hi

    Would someone recommend me a good widescreen TV that has HDMI input and that is HD ready. i don’t wish to have plasma i have heard too many people with colour burn so im looking for widescreen not plasma.

    probably best not to post in the plasma forum then :)....seriously though do a search here for screen burn / image retention....it's really not a problem if you follow the simple rules.

    But i would really like to have widescreen do you know any with hdmi and hd ready?

    very much doubt it, maybe if you were in the US, but not here in the UK.

    Theres one samsung CRT HDTV on the way, hopefully it will have HDMI like its US counterpart. If you mean TV in general theres tons of LCDs, but make sure you do your research because a lot have the resolution for HD, but not the frequencies/inputs.
