    Help!

Does anyone remember the name of a Kids TV Programme on in late eighties I think - possibly set in space and the object of the game was to collect as many coloured plastic discs as possible. Then crossing a grid while being chased by a talking plant pot?

Description is not 100% accurate as it's all from memory!

But does this ring any bells with anyone>?

    Cheers

    Yes, that's it!

Many thanks Gordon. Now off to do some (sad) research on The Adventure Game.

No he talked in Drogna which were words made up out of Drogna one of the word he used most was Gronda

Oh and the grid at the end was an invisible beam that only the viewes could see, the besm started at one end of the grid and the contestant at the other they could move one cross section of the grid at a time the grid was made up of small triangles.

The game itself were logic problems.

Ah, that was a weird programme alright. I love this quote from the BBC web site:

...I wonder if they meant to imply that Cheggers and Langford weren't among the gifted celebs! :rotfl:

    Thanks for the memories!
    Dave.

Also all of the alien characters' names were anagrams of Dragon...

It featured quite a bit on that Channel 4 programme about game shows on Saturday night. One of the aliens was Moira Stewart, and one of the contestants was a very young (and considerably slimmer) Fern Britton.

There was actually a guy who spoke backwards for a while. ("Olleh olleh!" etc.)

The planet the programme was set on was called Arg, and the aliens were called Argonds. Pretty much every alien name or word was an anagram of "dragon", for example, the currency was "the drogna" (plastic discs with a coloured geometric shape), the argonds had names like Gandor and Gnoard, the ruler (who spent most of his time in the shape of an aspidistra) was the Rangdo, and the traditional greeting to employ in his presence was "Gronda gronda, Rangdo!"

The vortex. With the contestants trying to avoid being evaporated. :)
