hi, I've just got the LG 43uf770v, is it possible to get the sound for netflix going through my roth neo soundcore, here's how everything is connected

    blu-ray player > Roth hdmi 2
Virgin Media Tivo > Roth hdmi 1
tv hdmi 2 (arc) > Roth hdmi out (arc)

blu-ray and vm tivo work through the roth but when i watch netflix there's no sound

I'm not familiar with either of these but is your Netflix app outputting 5.1? If so, switch to stereo and I would bet it will output the sound.

I've sorted it by telling the TV not to use its speakers

Hi Paul. I have also purchased an LG 43UF770V. So far I am very happy with the TV. Do you have an issue with lip syncing? If so do have any advice on a cure? i have also been struggling to find a way to view pics/videos from my iPhone to the TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

Sorry I don't have lip Sync problems, I'm having a different problem when I turn tv on it turns my blu-ray player on, it even turns it on when I press exit to quit Netflix

That is a strange problem. Have you got the Blu Ray player plugged into hdmi 2(arc) if so try swapping it to another one. Hope that helps

The arc function is used to control multiple appliances with just one remote. So try plugging the sound bar in a different hdmi.

Im afraid this is where my knowledge ends as I do not use a sound system only the TV speakers. I would of thought that if everything is plugged directly into the TV then there should be no issue with sound?

No, you've got the wrong end of the stick there.
    Google ARC (Audio Return Channel)

I am still sussing out the TV myself as I've only had it a week. So far the PQ is very good! If your looking for deep blacks then there are better TVs out there, due to LG UF770v using an IPS panel.
I have only played GTA V and found that there was input lag and was quite noticeable. If you change to game mode then it is barely noticeable but you lose PQ. I'm not a serious gamer so I can't comment much further than that I'm afraid.
For the money it is a superb tv with an excellent UI (webos 2.0) and the best viewing angles, if you do not sit dead in front of the TV this will be a great benefit. Hope this helps:)

Ok thanks for that. Im used to plasma so the blacks might be a problem. The lag might be ok if its fine in game mode. Cheers
