    .....between

    Panasonic TX28PL1
    JVC AV-28T25EKS
    Panasonic TX28PL10
    Philips 28PW6506

Can any owners of the above give advice on which set to buy?

    Cheers

...or you could go for the JVC AV28r25 (£475 from PRC Direct). It's the Dolby Pro-Logic version. If you've got the space, the 32" Dolby Pro-Logic model is still sub £700 (£675, again from PRC Direct)

    Cheers

Not personal experience. I have been shopping for a 28 inch and this model seems to have a very nice picture for the money. Like the Panny PL10, it has 100Hz. I have a component out prog scan dvd that would link up nicely with the ZP26. The only negative comments seem to be about the buzzing coming from the back. I have seen 3 28ZP26s and all 3 buzz to varying degrees although none at a level that I found disturbing.

Why didný have you considered this set??

I am a very happy owner, nice colors, perfect (almost) geometry (at least the most perfect I´d ever saw), good TV RF signal tunner, nice sound and really goodlooking face

The price of this set (at least in Spain) fall down in three months more that 150€ (100 pounds I guess)

    saludos

...but they don't playback NTSC apparently and I have a lot of R1's - is this true?
