help needed.. 'Pronto' !

    I just took delivery of my pronto from Lets automate £140 (thanks General)

    Can anyone tell me how to make the backlight turn on when the screen is touched?<br />I have tried what the manual says but no joy.

    Hold down the Pronto logo for about 5 second's, the page with battery leval and LCD timer's should appear, you need to press the down arrow at the bottom of the screen, you then get a page which allow's you to adjust the light sensor, just tap to adjust and set, mine is set in the middle.<br />Hope this help's

    Taz,<br /> You might also want to check that the LCD Light button in the setup screen is not switched to off and that the timeout is not set too short,<br />mine is set at 10sec.

    Taz,<br />I have the same model. It should do that 'out of the box'. The method described by Tim is correct. Try turning the sensitivity up to max. Maybe you've got a strange touch? <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <br />How can you see anything without the backlight?

    As I understand it, none of them have light sensors any more, as the chemicals used are banned in the EU.<br />To get the backlight to turn on when touched, set the light level all the way to the right, not left as stated in the instructions.<br />Have you been over to <a href="http://www.remotecentral.com" target="_blank">http://www.remotecentral.com</a> ? It's invaluable.
