help needed on wiring up speakers

    bit of a novice here but can anyone point to a site that has basic diagrams on how to wire up surrounds, mine have the clip type connectors and want make sure that i connect the speaker cable i have correctly, many thanks

    The speaker cable should have a + and - on it. Just make sure you connect the + to red at both ends and - to black at both ends. Real easy :D

    understand that, what i meant to say when i strip the speaker cable back is there any other tools u can use to make sure the cable is properly connect to speakers and amp ?

    Not with only having spring clips on the speakers. Just fit then up and if you get no sound then something isnt fitting correctly.
