help needed on one quiz question

    the answer is an actor/actress and is 5 and 5(first name=5 letters, surname=5 letters)

    first name clue = high mountain pass
    surname clue = gulf

    it is driving me crazy:mad::eek::(

    Well, a lot of mountain passes in Europe start with COL and then something else.

    You could take these letters are add to become Colin. Then a gulf is an opean stretch of water, otherwise known as a Firth.

    So it could be Colin Firth.

    I agree - have not had it in a quiz but the answer 'works'.

    Excuse my complete ignorance and idiocy, but where do you get Gulf to equal Close? The Mountain - Glenn I get but not the Gulf-Close link.
