Im after my first dvd recorder and Im after a bit of advice which machine to get please

This is for a bedroom where I have phono leads(video & audiox2) coming from the SKY+ box downstairs which give perfect picture and stereo on the upstairs tv,so SKY is obviously not RGB on the TV,so I do not need RGB input on the dvd recorder but I want RGB out to the TV for bought DVD films,I also need a firewire socket for archiving DV tapes, also need something that is multi region or can be easily made multi region,im not bothered about - or + format

So my basic needs are recording from SKY,archiving VHS tapes and DV tapes

I was looking at the MICO 311i or LITEON 5006 but any other suggestions please, budget approx £175ish

    Thank you very much
