Hiya
We have a sky HD box and have a cable running upstairs via RF to our bedroom.
I really want a TV in the kitchen but we don't have an outdoor aerial and the digital signal is so weak here we can't pick up a picture with an indoor aerial.
Is there a way to get a connection from the HD box to a TV in the kitchen as there's obv only the one RF and HDMI which are both being used.

Thanks:thumbsup:

There are 2 RF outputs.

Only one is powered (RF2) so that a magic eye will work with the remote in another room.

You can feed the other TV via RF1 but you won't be able to use a magic eye.

In other words you would have to change channels etc in the room where the Sky box is.

If a magic eye is vital you can get RF splitter/amplifiers. I don't use one so know little about them but someone will no doubt read this and advise what you need.........................

I'm in the same position looking to send a signal to a 3rd tv, i've tried using a simple 'y' connector & one of these Buy Philex 2 Way Aerial Booster. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for . but as soon as i do the 'magic eye' stops working. Hopefully someone can supply info about splitters/boosters...

The splitter needs to be of the 'passive' type to allow the 9V signal for the 'magic-eye' to pass through
See here as an example
Splitters, amplified splitters and attenuators
