    Hi

I am upgrading my AV amp from a Yamaha DSP-E492 to a Yamaha DSP-AX630SE. I have been using the 6-channel outs on my Sony DVD player. With the new amp I intend to use the digital output of the DVD. I can't find the instruction manual. (Doh!) Could someone pls tell me the correct settings on the DVD player's audio set-up page?

    Specifically:

Dolby Digital - options Dolby Digital or D-PCM
MPEG - options MPEG or PCM
DTS - options Off or On

I have a pretty good idea but I'd just like some reassurance...

    Many Thanks in advance.

ps If Sony were kind enough to put their manuals online like Yamaha do I wouldn't have to ask!!

I have a 725 which is close enough to your model. Options should be....

    Dolby Digital
    MPEG
    DTS On

    Cheers,

    Steve
