    Hi,

I'm very keen on buying a LMP case to build a new HCPC, but the stumbling block is the DVD drive - the Pioneer slot loader models are a bit like gold dust at the moment.

Can anybody recommend a UK supplier for these drives? Tried scan and microdirect with no success!

    Cheers,
    RobK

    You could try Dabs.

    www.dabs.com

    or

    www.overclockers.co.uk

Had a look on Scans site today and it says they have some in stock. You might with to give the a ring to confirm. :smashin:

    Good luck.

Thanks for the response, I checked scan page and the SCSI one is available (LN2460) - but I don't know if this one is easy to make multi-region. Will phone them and check stock and get a model number so I can get some more details.

Is the SCSI one the one you meant is in stock? Or have I missed it?

No, I meant the IDE one. It's just above the SCSI one. Says CALL where the price should be. :smashin:

I have this unit and it was very easy to make region free.

Ah yes, that's the one I wanted - but I called them this morning and they are out of stock - none expected until March 28th!!!

Andy (from LMP cases) has warned me that this drive is getting scarce, he wasn't kidding either!
