help naming bbc music/news series

Dear all,

Can anyone remember the name of the BBC tv music/news series - I think originally braodcast on BBC2 - where each episode was a different year - 60's through 70's and maybe 80's - which incorporated news from the year with music of the year as the audio , and the commentary was text

any thoughts?
