    Hi folks.
Last few years I have been streaming my files from Nas storage using my trusty old WDTV Live. It's been a great player. Now want to upgrade. 4k and atmos. I have tried a firestick but has buffering issues with my large files and also not sure I want to use kodi. My budget would be up to £150. I'm hoping this doesn't restrict me to android boxes using kodi but would be open to a decent one if I had to.. no internet access required thru the box as the android system on the tv takes care of that. I also tried kodi installed straight to the tv but that does not allow for audio passthru. All reccomendations greatly appreciated .. cheers

Thanks for the reply bubblegum57. I didn't mean for it to read that I was thinking large files were buffering due to kodi. It was indeed down to wifi as I normally connect via Ethernet.
Had a good read of your links and Vero seems a good choice.
