Wasn't sure what board to post this in...so...

I bought my player, TV and DD setup about 4 years ago but the time has come to upgrade after my player and TV decided to give up the ghost at the same time. (bloody typical )

I'm not a hardware guru by any means and so am now totally out of the loop on what good stuff has appeared on the market over the last few years.

So, I've got £1500 (MAX!!) to spend on the whole shebang, thats a new TV (32" CRT), player (multiregion) and theatre system (possibly a combi?)

I know it's not a huge amount of money but thats about what it cost me 4 years ago and prices have come down quite substantially so hoping to get some good deals.

So come on you hardware heads, whats the best way for me to spend my cash or wheres the best place to get reviews?

Just to get your juices going

you could get a 36" widescreen Phillips set for £1200
Pioneer do an all in one system 5 speakers plus
sub woofer plus amp dvd for £300
    Sony do one aswell.

Home cinema choice is a good place to start.
