Help me set up my connection.

I am with AOL and have just bought a netgear wireless router - but when I get to the test connection screen - it fails at the IP address - so will not even test the internet connection.

Please can anybody advise how I achieve the set-up.

I know the router is working as I am on the net fine.

have you set up the PS3? and let it find the router etc.?
