Hi all, my mother in law has asked me to help sell her collection of digital cameras. This is not my area of expertise so i'm looking for a bit of help pricing it up, particularly the DSLR bits. The compact cameras will sell for whatever they go for (maybe £50 each?) but don't want to give away the DSLR package for a crazy price. That being said, this stuff has been in a cupboard for at least 2 years so not going to be haggling too hard either!

I think that this is the full list, will look to sell the DSLR kit all together, maybe on this forum, and then probably will stick the 2 compact cameras on ebay. Any thoughts on what i might get for the big package would be really appreciated.
Thanks

Search for the item on eBay then on the left if you scroll down you can filter by Sold Items.

It'll give you a guide on what stuff goes for.

The 350D is probably not worth a great deal, the 17-85 needs to be proven to work well and have no errors (it has a habit of cracking a cable inside which can be fixed but at a cost , I had to do mine twice) half decent lens but nothing special but useful focal length, the 70-300 DO is the pick of the bunch and can fetch reasonable money.

As said, look on Ebay Sold/Completed items and search through LCE / MPB for SH retail prices.

I would get a free no obligation quote from MPB, Wex, Park etc to give you an idea of what they'd give.

....and prepare to be disappointed at their offers. :D

MPB have been quite good to me recently with their offers, and there’s always the chance of a bit of negotiation too :smashin:

Oy you. Since when have you had a A7R?

Not long tbh. Finally consolidated into one system and minimised my kit, the A7R IV was/is the only viable option for me at the mo :smashin:

I've gone sideways and recently bought a used X100T, bargain compact APS-C carry around, got an EVF and literally fits in my pocket!

Thanks for all your comments, this has given me some ideas
