Bought a new Samsung 3D TV from Robert Whyte. The TV was delivered last week , everything seemed ok and I signed for it.

When I bought the TV I also ordered a wall mount and 4 3D glasses, the glasses and wall mount were missing. I phoned up and they told me to check the box, when I checked the box I saw the wall mount but no glasses.

I phoned them up and they're going to send the glasses out to me again.
The TV is set to be installed next week, so me and a friend decided to double check everything. We opened the box and took a look at the screen and behold the whole screen is cracked, you can't feel the crack but you can see the cracks are internal. We took the TV out of the box and you can see the screen wasn't dropped as no damage to the casing at all. I believe the screen was damaged in transit by the courier company.

I want to know where I stand with asking for a replacement, Can I ask for a refund and go and buy it somewhere else? I'm really ****** as I should have checked it when I bought it, but I wasn't expecting this to be honest.

If you bought it online or over the telephone, you are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs) which allows you to reject the item, providing that you notify the vendor of your intentions within seven days of receipt of the item - no reason need be given for your decision.

Cheers,

Martin.
