    Loads

    No

just buy the Tosh, it is a steal for the money, only significantly bettered if you go beyond £1k for what it does, and that is pretty much everything you want.

Have to agree with Beekeeper....I recently got a Toshiba SD-125E free with the RPTV I bought....in a similar price range to the DVD player you're discussing...for the money, these players are superb value, and you'd definitely have to move significantly upmarket to better them for video quality.
Audio quality on CD's etc is a different matter, but again unless you're spending large amounts on a DVD player, you shouldn't expect the quality levels of a good dedicated CD player.

    m8,
Amazon.co.uk are doing the Multi Region Pioneer 350 for £99 plus free postage. After some deliberation I bought one. TOP STUFF!! Plays VCD, MP3, DVD-r & DVD-rw. Solid build & superb picture & sound I'd highly recommend it to anyone. I thought the quality of the DVDr playback was better than on my m8's Tosh 220E.

    Fine...

Enjoy your new purchase - I have had success with Pioneer in the past.

    A good make.
