Is that from separate amps then?

Don't see why not. Just run 2 sets of wires into them I believe. (but I stand to be corrected on this)

However, is there any particular reason that you you're not using your front speakers for stereo duties from your AV amp??? Just seems a bit odd to have rears as stereo speakers when i'm assuming all your chairs etc. are pointing at your screen and not at your rear speakers.

Well thing is that the mission fs1 speakers don't sound that good music wise, that's why i thought a pair of speakers designed for stereo would be good. i don't want to put them on the front 'cause they won't match the fs1's   :hiya:

    See what you mean.

Are you planning to run them from another amp though? Don't know how you would get stereo through a set of surround speakers from an AV amp. Only going off my own experience with a cheapie Sherwood, there is no way I can set the rear surrounds to stereo, only the fronts.

    Maybe someone else can enlighten...

You could in a wierd way with an HK AVR4550 the 7.1 rears are also a Zone 2 outlets not sure how easy it will be to swicth functions though.
Get proper fronts and use the FS1 as rears it would look daft with 5 FS1 and 2 M71i anyway! Better of with some similar (looking) fronts for Music use and use the 5FS1 for suround units only.
Canton doe some nice silver units might want to replace the centre with a canton too for a better Tonal match!

It is not a good idea to connect 2 amplifiers to the same speaker terminals. Ever.

    Please don't try it.
