Right I need a few questions answering about what will give the best picture0 quality for (definately <£3k and hopefully <£2k) on either a Panny TH-42PWD8 or TH-42PHD8.

Firstly I'd like to plug 3 things into the new plasma I'd buy:
    Sky/Freeview
    PC
Playstation 3 (when it comes out).

Now firstly should I go for an HD or the lesser model. I'm assuming that HD definately for PC but what will happen to my Sky/Freeview resolutions on that PHD8? Would it be noticable if I went for the PWD8 on a PC so Sky looked better?

Finally what connections should I use to go with these though?
Sky/Freeview (I heard SCART looks terrible, so I heard about doing a converter RGB to 15 pin thingy but HD is coming out so will this be able to support the quality or how will it connect?)
    PC (that 15 pin thingy)
Playstation 3 (HDMI board I presume)

Thanks for looking feel free to reply and put me out of my agony. :suicide:

if you can afford the PHD8 go for it. Sky looks as good on the hi def as it does on the std def (i have both). Apparently scart on the 8 series is greatly improved so you could keep the 15 pin for the pc and as you say HDMI for the ps3

You could of course connect sky+/most freeview with S-video for the time being. This works surprisingly well too, and is free with the screen.
