Help Me Choose My New DVD Player(plz)

My Sony is coming to its end, (the Sony S735D) i have had it for 4yrs now so surpose its had pleanty of use.

I am looking for basicly for a Sony player (dont ask just do) which will create a wicked picture on my Sony KD-28DX200 (flat screenl crt)

I have been looking at the DVP-LS755P which i can get for aroun £120 multi-region.

No probs about having a decodor cause already have a digitheater dts.

So basicly after a player which will play multiregion(everything including rce)/have a really good picture for nothing really expensive around £100/£150.

Well would really appriciate any opinons.

Has nobody got any opinons to help me out its been a while since i had to buy a player.

I had a look at my mate £70 sony player and i dont know if it was just me knowing it was cheaper but the picture just didnt look as crisp as my S735D.

So need to find one which will match that, i think a magazine will latest info will be best.

 

There are many threads here discussing cheapish players such as the Panny S97 and Pio 575, few such discussions mention a Sony which is what you're after, my persumption is that there are few Sony owners and hence that lack of replies.

Looking at a couple of retailer sites it seems the NS355 is the only one I can recall being mentioned here.

Have been looking abit more at the:

DVP-LS755PS and the
DVP-NS955

What i really need to know is the extra 100quid attached to the NS955 for the decodor as the LS755PS doesnt have one and i dont need one.

So in terms of performance they are the same????

Help....might go to the Sony shop but i heard they dont know much
