Help me choose a projector....

Hi, could anyone help me choose a projector:
My budget is up to £600.

I would prefer a quiet, HD Ready projector which will last a long time, and high brightness and a HDMI input.
Maybe a 3LCD projector?

If there are any suggestions, could you post a link, preferrably a well known company, eg. PC World.

Please can people post replies?

Having just seen the same projector I paid well over £1000 for four years ago sell for £250, I'd be checking out the classifieds on this forum. I'm still mightily impressed with mine, so for 600 quid you should get something rather special.

Mine is a Themescene HD72i, still going strong, excellent PQ, just replaced the bulb, but other than that it's been trouble free. And it has HDMI. It's DLP not LCD though, DLP being more cinematic apparently, but check you don't suffer from the rainbow effect.

I haven't checked out any new PJs, but there are links on here to specialist retailers, far more knowledgeable than PC World (INMHO ;)).
