    Hi all,

I am after a new dv digital camcorder for everyday use and for editing/burning onto dvd via a firewire connection to my emac. My budget is £450.
I quite like the look of the JVC GR-DX97 and the Canon MV6i MC - Any of these beter than the other or is there any better for my needs

    Thanks

I have never used either camcorder, however i was also tempted to purchase the JVC GR-DX97 until i read a review of the JVC GR-DX57 (which i believe is the same with less features).

The reviewer wasn't impressed so i cancelled my order just in time.
