    Hi All

    I need some advice.

I want to buy / build a new HTPC that runs Window Media Center. I already have the software so I just need to buy the hardware. I have about £600 max to spend and I want a lot for my money

    Here are my requirements:

First and foremost it must be silent running

Case: must be living room freindly

Processor: doesn't have to be super fast - just needs to cope with all the media center features and be able to play HD stuff. Needs to run silent

Graphics: not bothered about playing games just need to be able to output HD to my LG HD LCD (DVI/Component/HDMI)

Hard Drive: needs to be big, fast and silent.

Sound: need a SPDIF (digital) output so I can hook it up to my 6.1 system for 5.1 audio

TV: not bothered about this as I have Sky+ and will be maybe getting Sky HD in the future. I can't recieve a good enough TV signal in my area.

    DVD-RW: must be silent running.

plus all the other bits needed.

So can anyone help me :hiya:

    Thanks

    Guy
