    bump.....bump.....anyone, anywhere

Too late I have bought Tripomatic 2001 via Amazon (I say via, as it doesnt seem that I can order it direct from Amazon, just a third party). 2002 version will have to languish on the shelves of Amazon for another few months.

Must be someone else who owns this, its dance trance, very relaxing and sound brilliant through a set of Magnaplaners.:smoke:

Yep, I have them both - got them as promos from Sony when I was director of the radio station at Uni.

I think thought they were both released simultaneously in '93, even though the packaging on one (2001) mentions '94 - both discs are (c) '93.

Anyway - which is best....? 2001 has the single "Right in the night", which you might remember, and 2002 is definately the more chilled of the two - if you like one, I'd buy the other, they make a great pair.

Thanx for that, I was after the more chilled version, so it looks like I needed the later one doh. Mind you Amazon are doing it at £4.99 + packaging so thats not so bad.:)

there was two versions of tripomatic fairytales 2001 which came out,the first that came out had a track called "Odyssey to Anyoona", the second version has the remix of this track which was a single called "angel"(which was released as a single).the album is very recommended, superb sound when the volume is cranked up.
the ambient album they relesed at the same time isn't so good.
i think jam was responsible for one album and spoon the other

Top album from great producers. Right In The Night holds lots of memories.

The track 'Time To Burn' by Storm a couple of years back was these guys.

Inspired me to visit Amazon as I've just an empty case for the album now - lost the CD somehow. Thanks for the reminder!

Finally got my copy of 2001, with the extra tracks:) , I hadnt realised 'right in the night' was one of their tracks.

Nice music a very good album, really chilled, very trancy, I would have thought this would be a big commercial success, wonder why its not available in the UK?? I noticed that they have written a paragraph of 'thanks' and hoped the record wasnt too comercial for a none commercial record label (strange then that its distributed by Sony).

2002 is on its way, if thats as chilled as you say I might end up 'spaced for days'.
