    Here's my setup:

SONY DAV-880 ----> Component cable ----> Component card on Panny PWD6.

In the menu settings on the DAV do I select Interlaced or Progressive ?

    What is the difference ?

Try both - with the DVD in progressive mode you are essentially relying on Sony to de-interlace the picture from within the DVD player (on NTSC discs only). With the DVD in Interlace mode you are relying on Panasonic to do the work instead! This is becasue the plasma will be converting the interlaced signal into progressive.

There will be very little difference between the two, and the Panny may just clinch it if there is....
