    Hi,

I wonder if anyone can answer this one, though admittedly it's a bit of a long shot! I remember seeing a stand up comedian on DVD, who did a skit about a review written about him, which said something about him being "bendier than expected", and then debating whether it was a comedy review or a medical one...

That's about all I can remember of it...anyone got any idea's who it was, and which DVD?

See... I told you it was a long shot!

    Cheers!

No - it IS Bill Bailey :)

He's discussing the reviews in the second half of the show :) (about 2 minutes in)

    "He's like a bonzai meatloaf"

"One of them was his head resembles a large egg and his hair hangs down his back like a shower curtain. That's not a review, that's biological field notes."

"One of them said he's taller, thinner and more bendy than you might think. More Bendy?? Yeah, he's alright he's not as bendy as I thought"

Thank you VERY much! That's been driving me nuts for days! Right...time to dig out the DVD!
I did have an inkling it might have been either Phil Cool or Bill Bailey, but wasn't sure... I watch so many different stand up comedians, what with Live at Jongleurs, Comedy Club and all the other stuff on Paramount, not to mention my DVD's, they all tend to merge into one big fuzzy mess in my brain after a while!

    Thanks again!

No problem - if it's Bill Bailey or Eddie Izzard, I can quote it (and usually at great length) :)

That's what makes it all the more daft... I can usually quote Bill Bailey for a pastime, so you'd think I'd be able to remember it!

'Bill Bailey - Part Troll' is one of the best stand up gigs I've seen. Loads and loads of great jokes but his impression of The Edge from U2 at the end had me in stiches

Both "Part Troll" and "Bewilderness" are excellent, but if you haven't already, i'd recommend watching "Unrealtime" and "Sonic Waffle" by Ross Noble, the man is an insane genius.

Agreed..! Already got Unrealtime and just placed an order for Sonic Waffle, having seen a butchered version on TV last week. Absolutely hilarous :rotfl:
