Heres the deal:I buy a pair of woofers, tweeters and crossovers and give it to my friend who will build a pair of bookshelfs for me for good price.

So i want a good pair that is in Dynaudio Audience 52 range.Thats 17cm woofer + 28mm tweeter.
The thing is i dont know which woofer and tweeter to buy.I checked Vifas stuff and it appears to have good woofers, but not good enough tweeters.
So if you could help me choose id be great.
Another thing is i dont know where to buy stuff. If you know any site like partsexpress only in Europe id be glad to know.I dont want to order from USA cause of tax etc

Heres a link to Audience 52:

Thanks for the link!So i see you made your fronts of Peerless drivers. Can you pliz specify which one did u use?
There are only 2 tweeters, which one do you think is better?830 or 528?

But the thing is id like to have mid/bass woofer + tweeter, so a 2 way speakers and Peerless doesnt have that kind of woofer. They have bass OR midrange.Hm.

I used a kit called the elegance which uses an 830 tweeter, this was called the 815 when I bought it but has since been replaced. My speakers are only 2 way and they are fine, I used the 850113 bass/mid unit.

I found wilmslow very helpful when I was building mine, might be worth giving them a quick call as they can advise you on how best to match the dynaudio sound (email was a bit more flaky than phonecalls with them I found).

    :) HTH

I always thought that Vifa tweeters were very good, they're often found in speakers costing thousands ££££'s.

Wilmslow Audio are very good for DIYers,
And you could also check out www.iplacoustics.co.uk for some other kits + bits.

    Paul.
