Help! How do I change my keyboard setting

For some reason my keyboards changed it's setting. When I press the '@' key it comes out as ". If I want to enter @ I have to press ". how do I change it back to the UK setting?

Sounds like you have it set to us keyboard.

you can change it in the control panel options.

What OS? In W7 Control Panel > Region & Language > Keyboards & Languages > Change Keyboards.

Thanks that's done the trick. It strange how it changed mid sentence. It's not like I was downloading anything or rebooting? I'm going to run some anti-virus software now to make sure everythings fine.

Left Alt+Shift switches languages. Best bet is to delete the US keyboard altogether.

That is probably what I did. I've now deleted the US option as suggested.
