I own a Harman Kardon HK3370 Amp/receiver. It is not working. i have replaced one fuse inside the amp correctly, and the plug fuse. However the plug fuse keeps on going. When i switch the amp on it turns on standby but turns off when i try to turn it on properly. I have to replace the plug fuse and the same thing happens. Harman Kardon say it is in "safe mode". Any suggestions of how to solve this dilemna????

Sounds stupid but check your speaker terminals at each end.

If they all look ok, could be a fault either end where the negative and positive terminals are making contact.

I once had a faulty speaker where the crossover linked the polarities causing my amp to switch to safe mode.
