I've got an FMJ 27 on loan from my dealer.

I wanted to see the PAL progressive in action.

The problem is neither the NTSC or PAL progressive produce a very good picture.

Small black lines flicker on the screen as if a piece of picture information is missing.

    I'm using a Panasonic Plasma PWD4B.

Is the problem with the Plasma?

The FMJ works find in normal mode using the other interconnects.

The Plasma works find with my regular DVD.

The FMJ is running firmware 1.76.

This is a symptom of v1.76, the player needs v1.78 or greater for PAL progressive to work properly.

This version of software also shows that this is an older DV27, you should check out the latest DV27 if possible; awesome. And if you order one, make sure it is a later model you are supplied.
