Im needing to replace my Toshiba 57" screen with a new model of screen
(Plasma or LCD), I have been offered a 52" Samsung full 1080, but I would
like to either go same size or larger than 58", has anyone got any recommendations ? I have looked at the sony 70" but i believe that is a poor set and rear projection (like my bulky tosh)

All help appreciated, thanks in advance

    Hi,

If you want the best screen at this size then you need to take a look at a Pioneer PDP-LX608XD, but then I would say that....

For that budget, you'll be very limited as to a 60"+ screen. Plasma anyway.
There is the LG 60" for around the 2k mark i believe, and for around the 3.5k mark, the Samsung 63"

And the 58" Panasonic for around 3k.

I think you'll be struggling, the only 60" plasmas around that price range are from LG. LCD's really only go upto 52" .
