Can anyone recommend a narrow DVD player? Bit unusual but I need a small DVD player but with decent quality.

I have seen the Sony DVPF41 and Cyrus range but are there any other suggestions?

    Thanks :)

How about the DVD player out of systems like the Teac Reference 300 or Reference 500 range, the NAD L55 (or might be T55 ... can't remember which bits which) or the Denon mini-system who's name I can't remember.

I believe the Teac and the NAD are avaliable separate from the rest of the system ... but not sure about that Denon.

Anyhow ... when you say "narrow" ... how narrow do you need? Half width like those meantioned, or just slightly narrower than standard width?

Some of the Pioneer players are quite thin.

    I think it's the 444 i'm thinking of.....

I think he means narrow as in width not height, like Cyrus stuff which is less than half the width of standard kit.

    Thanks for the replies :)

I've decided to go for a slim player and stack the units, probably something like the Sony 905. Doing it this way gives me more choice.

We have a Yammy 830 in the shop at the minute and they're very slim, also do DVD-A. Not too bad a player, though it is a rebadged Panasonic. The Pana XV10EBS is also very slim and shiny too, but not so great a performer (nor a DVD-A player).
