help!! faulty kodak z710

ive had this camera a while and its always worked fine, after a recent trip to germany it was pretty cold there the camera no longer works,

the camera starts up ok and it stays on for about 1 minute max then shuts down, i thought may'be moisture had got into from the cold climate so dried it in the airing cupboard for 7 days and still no joy.

its out of warrenty now so any ideas from you tech guys? thanks .lee.

how about a knackered battery , sounds as though it may have a rechargeable one , does it ?

its got standard batteries in it, ive changed them and still no joy pretty gutted tbh

have you tried cleaning the battery contacts inside the camera where the batteries go ?? , long shot i know , but

yeah ive also tried that!! it works ok if im viewing the photos on the sd card but as soon as you change it over to the camera function it shuts down? think ill just sell it as faulty as its beyond me whats up with it
