Help! does the f88 HAVE to have the tuner to work?

Hi,

I have just bought a Denon F88 system on ebay:

Amplifier - UPA-F88
Tuner - UTU-F88
CD Player - UCD-F88
Tape Deck -UDR-F88

I didn't want the tuner or tape deck so left them with the seller.

However, the power leads on the CD player and amp only plug into the tuner (they are two point plugs). I suppose the tuner must have a normal plug.

Is there a way of getting power to just the CD player and amp?
