Sorry to shout but im having a real problem
trying to get my HTPC to output to my
Yamaha DSPA5 Amp. It only has Co axial and optical connections.
i bought a phono to mini jack connector to connect from card to amp and have got absolutley ZILCH!!!
Can the digital out be connected to an amp via a co axial cable . I have run all tests
and am now at wits end!!

Thanks to Fulabeer for the picture tips the image is superb now at 75HZ but a bit sad with no sound!!

    SORTED IT !!!!!!!!
Not entirely sure how !!(think amp was set wrong)
Now have dolby digital to accompany the superb picture HTPC now a full success.
Maybe will now actually start to watch and enjoy films !!! and stop tweaking!!
NB Metric yes the soundblaster player live 5.1 soundcard has digital out via a 3.5 mini jack.
